Mark Chandler, was elected to the Lodi City Council in November 2014 and re-elected in November 2018, and has previously served as Mayor.
Mr. Chandler is a 7th generation Californian whose family history revolves around agriculture. He has a degree in Agricultural Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is a graduate of the esteemed California Agricultural Leadership Program.
Mark's 30 plus years in California wine included his role as Executive Director of the Lodi Winegrape Commission from 1991 to 2011, where he helped expand the number of Lodi wineries tenfold. For his efforts, he was named Sunset Magazines' Wine Professional of the Year and was recently listed among the Top 100 Most Influential People in U.S. Wine by Into Wine.
Mark and his wife, Jan, farm 180 acres of vineyards in the Lodi appellation, and he provides marketing services to clients across Northern California under his firm, Chandler and Company.
