Safety and Maintenance

Lodi Electric crews are here to make sure our customers have reliable and safe power. We are continuing our maintenance program. Occasionally, we may be required to interrupt your electric service, however, our crews will notify any homes or businesses that will be affected.

Suspending Service Disconnections

Lodi Electric is currently not turning off power for non-payment at this time. The City of Lodi will not contact you by phone or visit your home or business demanding payment. Please call the City of Lodi Finance Department at (209) 333-6717 to obtain your account balance or payment information.

Residential Electric Utility Bill Assistance

SHARE Program (Single Household Alternative Rate for Energy): The SHARE program is based on income and provides a monthly discount of 30% on electric usage charges.

Lodi Electric CARE Program: The CARE program is based on income and provides a grant up to $110 towards your electric charges. You can apply every six months.

Medical Discount Program: Customers with qualifying medical devices or who require medical space conditioning may apply for the medical discount that provides a 25% discount on electric charges. There are no income requirements for this program. NOTE: Medical customers currently receiving the medical discount will not be asked to re-certify through a doctor or other medical professional for up to one year due to COVID-19.

SJ County LiHeap Program: The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) can offer income income--eligible residents of San Joaquin County a credit to their utility bill.
